Ms. Stanforth began her career with Griffis/Blessing in 1993 as a Regional Property Manager. In 2005, Ms. Stanforth was promoted to Senior Vice President, Multifamily Property Services. Her responsibilities today include directing the operations for a multifamily portfolio of over 50 apartment communities.
Prior to joining Griffis/Blessing, Ms. Stanforth was a Regional Property Manager for ProStar Management in San Diego and Dunlap & Magee Asset Management in Phoenix. She has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate marketing and operations, and has executed numerous lease-ups of new construction, as well as extensive renovations and repositioning of properties.
Ms. Stanforth attained the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation in 1984, and has over 30 years of management experience. She has been a member of IREM Chapter #53 since 1993, serving as President in 2000, and previously served on the Board of Greccio Housing. She served on the Apartment Association of Colorado Springs, AACS, Board of Directors from 2003-2005, serving as President in 2004. In 2005 she was awarded the AACS Ethel Horton Award for her volunteer involvement over the years. In 1999, Ms. Stanforth was the recipient of the IREM chapter’s CPM® of the Year award, in 2002 was named one of 25 Influential Individuals in Real Estate, in 2003 named one of the Top 25 Dynamic Women in Colorado Springs and in 2007 one of 10 Women of Influence. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of South Dakota/Springfield.
