COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Griffis/Blessing recently hosted their 22nd annual Kick Off Awards Luncheon to celebrate employee and company achievements of the previous year, recognize award winners and to begin 2019 with a bang. The annual awards include the Rose Award (Employee of the Year), Midas Touch, Commercial and Multifamily Departmental awards and the Star Performers, who are the top 10% of the company’s employees. “This event is a great opportunity for us to recognize the hard work done by our employees in the previous year and set the stage for what we are looking forward to in 2019,” says President and COO, William J. “BJ” Hybl Jr.
Property Manager, Cami Waldier-Burgess was the winner of this year’s Rose Award for demonstrating every trait of an exceptional role model and serving as a true example of all the Core Values – hard work, integrity, financial stewardship, innovation and creativity. The Rose Award is given to the employee who best exemplifies Griffis/Blessing’s Core Values during the prior year.
Amy Tucker, Property Manager at Northtowne Summit in Reno, NV, was this year’s Midas Touch winner. Nominees are employees who excel at raising income, lowering expenses or managing a difficult property or project well.
Thirty-six individuals were presented with Star Performer Awards for lending exceptional support to their co-workers and exemplifying the Core Values.
