Employees celebrated National Volunteer Month by participating in the fifth annual “Volunteer Day” on Friday, April 7, spending the day working with non-profit organizations in lieu of their normal daily activities. Members of the Multifamily and Commercial groups, along with partner vendors, donated their time and energy to one of nine non-profit organizations located in Colorado Springs and Denver.
Silver Key – Volunteers assisted in organizing the food pantry
Care & Share – Sort & box food to be shipped out to the community.
American Cancer Society – Clean & organize their office
Ronald McDonald House – Cleaned & organized offices and common areas
Golden Retriever Rescue – Cleaned crates, indoor & outdoor cages and play areas.
Special Kids, Special Families – Cleaned buses, worked in the garden, clean & organized kitchen and common areas
Partners in Housing – Moved counters & installed desks, organized storage, moved furniture.
ReStore Colorado Springs – General maintenance clean-up & organization of the store
Yard Angels – General maintenance clean-up of two yards for elderly owners
